The crystal machine twirls slowly in its insulated suspensors, a giant in its rumbling chamber, orbited by the coils, calibrators, and ornamented dials of its awe-inspiring operation.
All around the air crackles with static which manifests in periodic thundershocks, blinks of lightning arcing away from the machine to lesser crystals of the collector apparatus.
It is power, in symbol and in application, vital and carefully stewarded by maintainers and guildspeople who wear the insignia of their honored stations.
This is the third large pendant in my series, a sparkling angel-aura quartz point (natural quartz crystal modified with a permanent iridescent lustre), carefully bracketed in fine brass wire and mounted to a hand-cut brass backing.
Now that it has shown in the art show at SteamCon II with the rest of its brethren, it is available for sale through my Etsy shop. [It has sold! But if you like it please do have a look at the other images of it on the listing: [link]
I'll be submitting more of the series to DA soon! Thanks for your views!
