The crystal machine twirls slowly in its insulated suspensors, a giant in its rumbling chamber, orbited by the coils, calibrators, and ornamented dials of its awe-inspiring operation. All around the air crackles with static which manifests in periodic thundershocks, blinks of lightning arcing away from the machine to lesser crystals of the collector apparatus. It is power, in symbol and in application, vital and carefully stewarded by maintainers and guildspeople who wear the insignia of their honored stations.
This is the third large Technician's emblem in my series, a sparkling angel-aura quartz point (natural quartz crystal modified with a permanent iridescent lustre), carefully hand-wrapped in fine brass wire.
