One of the highlights of Penny Arcade Expo for me was an unexpected encounter with one of my favorite cosplayers, *pikminlink! I've admired her work for years and it was a delight to see it in person, even though my costume's eyes were all fogged up and I felt rather handicapped and awkward. (I was afraid I was right up in her face until I saw the pictures.

) I wish we could have chatted more but I actually needed to leave and get out of the costume a little early because I was so stressed from not being able to see well.
I hope there will be another chance for better pictures someday. Li's costumes are amazing and I always enjoy opportunities to get better acquainted with talented and dedicated fellow fans.

Wil Wheaton tends to be present at PAX as well.

You can wear pretty much any geeky meme costume to PAX and they love it.

. I didn't get a whole lot of recognition at Dragon*Con, except from the man himself.

I do plan on it, but I'm kinda bummed about the weekend that its in 2012. I know it's always Easter, but it's also General Conference weekend for me, and it's not always that, so yeah, not 100% sure, but I know I'd really like to come back. I've got friends there now! I'm definitely doing PAX next year, though.
