New Majora's Mask Unpainted

Front and back of the first cast made from my new Majora's Mask mold. This was a sort of experimental cast in plaster, Claycrete, and Sculpt-A-Mold (which I probably would not use again for this sort of application, since contrary to the package information it does shrink, takes forever to dry, and the starch in it bled through to the front of the mask and has been causing some painting difficulties). The back is all ugly, but will be covered with a thin foam cushion and a velvet lining after painting is completed.
I've cut holes into this one to allow a little bit of visibility for the wearer who will be using it for cosplay.

It's fun to compare this to my first version of this mask, unpainted. I think it's a big improvement.
